Khairi Sufi first realized his dream of becoming a fashion designer when he found himself sketching headless figurines accompanied by trendy outfits inspired by Fran Drescher in The Nanny and his old time favorite cartoon Jem and the Holograms.
He dreamt of becoming a writer, but soon realized that fashion was his true calling. He got his training from a local university;
In mid of 2007, Khairi auditioned for Project Runway Malaysia and made the top 15 out of hundreds of hopefuls. Even though he failed to make it that far, he was later offered a job as a Visual Merchandiser with clothing company
Khairi was unsatisfied. There was a void. He quit his job to pursue his dream as a fashion designer and got himself closer with celebs as one way of exposing himself to the industry. Since then he has designed outfits for Fazura, Liza Hanim, Sharifah Amani and Sazzy Falak. His journey has begun yet he strives for success.
